Qualifications

• Experience in packing or similar manufacturing role in food is preferred.
• Attention to detail and maintaining high quality standards.
• Able to meet production targets while keeping accuracy.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.

Responsibilities

• Carefully inspect pastry products for quality, freshness, and consistency before packaging.
• Pack pastry items into designated containers, boxes, or packaging materials according to company specifications and customer requirements.
• Ensure all packaging is sealed, labelled, and marked with relevant product information and expiry dates.
• Maintain accurate records of packaged quantities and batch numbers for traceability purposes.
• Organise and arrange packaged products on pallets or designated storage areas for distribution.
• Follow strict food safety and hygiene standards at all times to comply with regulatory requirements.
• Monitor packaging materials and report any shortages or quality issues to supervisors.
• Work efficiently to meet daily packing targets and production schedules.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and maintain a clean, safe working environment.
• Operate packaging machinery and equipment safely, performing routine maintenance as required.
