Job summary

Steelbro (M) sdn bhd is seeking a reliable Parts Controller to manage and coordinate spare parts for our Sideloader workshop. You will maintain inventory, receive and issue parts, and support mechanics with timely supply to ensure smooth repairs and maintenance operations.

The role requires 2–3 years of parts/inventory experience, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work independently in a hands-on environment. A stable, safe workplace with opportunities for growth is offered.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in parts/inventory management (automotive or heavy vehicle industry preferred).
• Knowledge of trailer and truck parts (suspension, braking systems, axle, electrical, etc.) is an advantage.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Computer literate (basic Excel or inventory software).

Responsibilities

• Manage stock of spare parts, tools, and consumables for trailers.
• Receive, record, and organize incoming parts and materials.
• Issue parts to mechanics and monitor usage.
• Track inventory levels and prepare purchase requests when stock runs low.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping and proper labeling of parts.
• Coordinate with suppliers and follow up on deliveries.
• Assist in cost control by minimizing wastage and ensuring efficient use of parts.
