Yonyou (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Partner Manager to build and manage a robust network of ERP resellers, system integrators, and solution partners across Malaysia.
You will recruit, enable, and drive revenue with partners, providing training, sales support, and market insights to expand ERP coverage and achieve targets.
The role requires strong negotiation, relationship management, and Mandarin/English communication, with regional travel as needed.
The Partner Manager is responsible for developing, managing, and growing a network of value‑added resellers (VARs), by recruiting ERP resellers, system integrators, and solution partners across Malaysia to drive sales and market penetration of Yonyou’s solutions. This role focuses on partner recruitment, enablement, and revenue delivery, ensuring partners have the support, tools, and incentives to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partner Recruitment & Onboarding
Identify, evaluate, and recruit qualified ERP, SI or solutions channel partners across Malaysia, strengthen market coverage and industry presence.
Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, terms, and targets in line with company policies.
Lead the end‑to‑end onboarding process: introduce product portfolio, commercial model, policies, and sales processes.
2. Business Planning & Revenue Targets
Set annual and quarterly sales targets, revenue forecasts, and growth plans for assigned partners.
Work closely with partners to develop joint business plans, market strategies, and pipeline development roadmaps.
Track and report on partner performance against KPIs: revenue, number of new customers, deal closure rate, and market share.
3. Partner Enablement & Support
Organize and deliver commercial training on Yonyou’s solutions, sales methodology, and pre‑sales/consulting skills.
Provide commercial support during key sales cycles, including joint customer visits, solution presentations, and proposal preparation.
Share market insights, competitor updates, and success stories to help partners position solutions effectively.
4. Relationship & Performance Management
Act as the primary point of contact for all partner‑related matters, maintaining strong, trust‑based long‑term relationships.
Review partner performance regularly, identify gaps, and provide guidance to improve results.
Resolve issues related to pricing, contracts, delivery, and support to ensure smooth operations.
5. Market & Channel Strategy
Monitor market trends, industry demands, and similar industry players in Malaysia’s ERP sector.
Recommend improvements to channel policies, incentives, and programs to increase partner motivation and loyalty.
6. Perform any other duties as may be reasonably assigned by the Company from time to time
Qualifications & Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in channel sales, partner management, ERP or software sales in Malaysia.
Solid understanding of ERP solutions (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, local ERP systems) and business processes.
Existing network or experience working with system integrators, software resellers, or IT service providers in Malaysia is highly preferred.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in Mandarin and English speaking and writing, Bahasa Malaysia is an advantage.
Ability to travel within Malaysia as required.
Results‑oriented, self‑motivated, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively.
