Job summary

Hi Tea Malaysia Enterprise is seeking a friendly cafe team member in Kuala Lumpur to prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold tea beverages according to established recipes and quality standards.

You will engage with customers, take orders, handle payments, maintain a clean work station, restock ingredients, and assist with opening and closing duties during peak hours. Develop knowledge of different tea types and brewing methods to delight guests and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Develop a strong understanding of different tea types, flavor profiles, and brewing methods to enhance customer experience and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide variety of hot and cold tea beverages, including traditional teas, specialty blends, and milk teas, adhering to company recipes and quality standards.
• Engage with customers in a friendly and efficient manner, taking orders accurately, answering questions about the menu, and making recommendations based on customer preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the tea bar, preparation areas, and customer seating areas, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Operate and maintain tea-making equipment, such as brewers, blenders, and POS systems, performing routine cleaning and basic troubleshooting as needed.
• Manage inventory of tea leaves, ingredients, and supplies, notifying management of low stock levels and assisting with receiving and stocking deliveries.
• Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours, assist colleagues as needed, and contribute to a positive work atmosphere.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and professionally, escalating complex problems to management when necessary.
