Job summary

Jora Malaysia is recruiting for an entry-level accounting role in Kuala Lumpur. The successful candidate will assist with daily accounting tasks, data entry, and filing, and will handle accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations.

You will prepare financial reports, support month-end and year-end closing, and maintain accurate records, while demonstrating attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in an accounting role.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.

Responsibilities

• Assist in daily accounting tasks, including data entry and filing.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
• Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
• Prepare financial reports and statements as required.
