Job summary

Michelin Cuisine Sdn Bhd is seeking an accounting assistant in Malaysia to support daily finance operations and maintain accurate records. The role requires a diploma or bachelor's degree in accounting/finance and at least 1 year of relevant experience.

Proficiency in Excel and accounting software is essential. The candidate should be detail-oriented, organized, able to work independently, and meet deadlines. EPF, SOCSO, HRD Corp, annual leave, and other benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of working experience in accounting-related roles.
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

• Able to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily accounting and finance operations.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare invoices, payment vouchers, receipts, and other accounting documents.
• Perform data entry and maintain accurate accounting records.
• Assist with bank reconciliation and monthly account closing.
• Maintain proper filing of financial documents.
• Assist with basic reporting and other accounting tasks assigned by the supervisor.
