Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and maintain production equipment including auto packaging machines, laser welders, pneumatic tools, vision systems, and PC-based systems. You will respond to breakdowns, perform corrective maintenance, track downtime, and support production targets with reliable equipment.

You will manage preventive maintenance, calibration schedules, and spare parts, ensuring audit-ready records and compliance with quality and safety standards

Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical, Electronic, Mechatronic or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of equipment maintenance or production support experience.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
• Basic understanding of PLC, electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to read drawings, schematics and maintenance procedures.
• Familiar with preventive maintenance and calibration.
• Independent worker with good communication and teamwork

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and maintain production equipment including packaging machines, laser welders, and vision systems.
• Respond to equipment breakdowns and perform corrective maintenance to support targets.
• Track downtime and analyze performance to improve uptime.
• Perform and manage preventive maintenance and work orders with documentation.
• Manage calibration schedules and spare parts inventory to ensure readiness.
• Support engineering activities, including equipment validation and CI initiatives.
• Maintain audit-ready logbooks and maintenance records.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety and regulatory requirements; aim for zero NCs
