Job summary

Bright Prospect is seeking an engineer with a Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic or related field to join a packaging production line in Malaysia. The role requires at least 2 years of experience, proficiency in MS Office, and the ability to learn new software.

Familiarity with SAP OPO and AutoCAD is a plus, with Lean Manufacturing knowledge advantageous. Key responsibilities include setting up production machines, monitoring line performance, and ensuring quality and safety across operations.

Qualifications

• Diploma required in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Electrical/Manufacturing Engineering.
• At least 2 years of packaging production line experience.
• Proficiency in MS Office and quick to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Set up production machines (filler, labeler, capper, sealer) and perform tooling changes according to the production schedule.
• Ensure daily line operations run as scheduled, maintain an efficient Track and Trace system, and troubleshoot issues promptly.
• Conduct routine machine checks, including lubrication, cleaning, and calibration; coordinate with maintenance for major repairs.
• Perform in-line quality inspections (visual checks, fill weight, labeling/packaging conformity).
• Record and report quality deviations or machine issues; collaborate on corrective actions.
