Job summary

Halton Group Asia in Malaysia is seeking a diligent production/packing assistant to support daily manufacturing operations. You will perform production orders, read drawings and Bills of Materials, and ensure accurate packing and shipment preparation.

Fresh graduates or candidates with 1+ year of related experience are welcome. Diploma holders are encouraged to apply; training is provided. Overtime may be required, and safety compliance is essential.

Qualifications

Certificate or diploma in a related field or equivalent
Fresh graduate or 1+ year in related field
Experience in packing or QC is a plus
Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills
Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing
Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English
Willing to work overtime when required
Good attitude and able to work in a team
Training will be provided for candidates without working experience

Responsibilities

Perform production orders according to schedule and work instructions
Read and understand drawings
Read and understand Bill of Materials
Perform packing duties and prepare materials for shipment with accuracy and quality
Conduct visual inspection to ensure quality
Maintain 6S at the workplace
Operate forklift and handle loading tasks
Follow all company policies and safety guidelines
Perform any ad hoc duties as assigned by supervisor
