Agensi Pekerjaan & Perundingcara Bright Prospect Sdn Bhd in Malaysia invites applications for a Maintenance Technician (Packaging Machine) on-site in Pasir Gudang. The role covers setting up and maintaining packaging machinery to ensure smooth operations and quality standards.

You will work with cross-functional teams, perform preventive maintenance, and support production efficiency. Diploma in engineering and at least two years on a packaging line are required; English and Malay communication

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical, Mechatronic, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.
At least 2 years of work experience on a packaging line.
Bilingual English and Malay communication required.
Basic computer skills; SAP OPO or AutoCAD is a plus.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and change over packaging machines per daily schedules.
Maintain line operations and troubleshoot minor faults to minimize downtime.
Perform routine preventive maintenance and assist with major repairs.
Conduct inline quality checks on fill weights and packaging standards.
Coordinate with lab, process, maintenance, and warehouse teams to ensure material flow.
Log defects and monitor waste to improve efficiency.
