Job summary

GC Packaging in Malaysia seeks an proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Production Manager to oversee daily production operations in our food packaging facility. You will plan schedules, supervise teams, ensure quality, safety, and regulatory compliance.

You will drive continuous improvement (Lean, 5S, Kaizen), analyze data, manage resources, coordinate with QC, Maintenance and Warehouse, and mentor staff to meet targets in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field.
• Experience 5-6 years in food packaging/manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of GMP, HACCP, ISO standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and manage daily production schedules to meet targets.
• Supervise production teams to ensure safety, productivity and standards.
• Coordinate with Quality Control, Maintenance and Warehouse teams.
