Job summary

Julie’s Biscuits in Malaysia is seeking a marketing/business-oriented professional to drive new product initiatives and packaging development. You will execute development plans, monitor artwork workflows, and prepare product specifications while gathering competitive packaging insights.

The role requires strong planning, multitasking, and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia, with additional Mandarin being a plus. Based in Alor Gajah, Melaka, local travel may be needed.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelors’ Degree in Marketing, Business related or equivalent.
Knowledge in graphic design is a strong plus.
Be creative, innovative with a strong sense of arts.
Good planning and time management with multitasking ability.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Responsibilities

Respond to company initiatives by driving new products to meet customer needs.
Execute the product development plan and deliver projects on time.
Provide input and support in new product development plans.
Collaborate across product and functional groups to manage packaging evaluation.
Manage product information including improvements, new applications and obsolescence.
Participate in brainstorming for new and revamped product concepts.
Monitor interdepartmental artwork checking process flow.
Prepare and update Product and Packaging Specifications.
Research competitive insights on packaging.
Other responsibilities as assigned by superior.
