Job summary

MVC Resources in Malaysia is seeking a Packaging Development Executive to lead the design, prototyping, testing, and validation of new packaging solutions. You will bridge customer requirements with factory execution through lab testing and transit validations.

Responsibilities include conducting compression, bursting, and grammage tests; coordinating ISTA/ASTM/ISO testing; and driving Cost Down Value Engineering projects to optimize material efficiency and reduce costs while maintaining

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in science/engineering, packaging engineering, industrial design, materials science, or related technical field.
• 1–2 years in packaging design/packaging engineering/product development/QA in manufacturing.
• Understanding of corrugated board, foam cushioning, or wooden packaging systems.
• Familiarity with physical packaging tests (compression, bursting, grammage) and ISTA/ASTM/ISO tests is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and structural development of new packaging solutions with 2D/3D reviews.
• Prepare prototypes and samples for internal validation and customer reviews.
• Participate in CDVE to optimize materials, stackability, and cost without sacrificing integrity.
