Job summary

Matthews International Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Desktop Publishing Artist to produce accurate finished print-ready artwork in line with client briefs and legal/technical requirements. The role emphasizes quality inspection, fast-paced delivery, and ownership of the work produced.

You will work within our global artwork production teams to service top brands, ensuring high-quality outputs across packaging and related materials. Training will be provided, and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Secondary/ Diploma/ Degree in Art & Design or related field.
• Proven experience in Pre-press, Printing, Packaging or Advertising preferred.
• English written and spoken proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Produce artwork in accordance with client specifications.
• Perform quality checks to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Develop accurate artwork for basic to complex production tasks.
• Incorporate brand guidelines into artwork layouts per client specs.
• Apply pre-press knowledge (colour separation, trapping, high-res image replacement).
• Maintain day-to-day quality inspection processes.
