Job summary

Sports Express in Malaysia is seeking a Graphic Designer with basic printing and artwork production knowledge to join our team. The candidate will be responsible for creating and preparing artwork for printing, assisting with customer artwork, and ensuring files are properly prepared for production.

You will create and edit basic graphic designs for printing and promotional materials, prepare artwork according to required printing sizes and specifications, and assist customers with basic artwork

Qualifications

• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and/or CorelDRAW.
• Basic understanding of printing processes and print-ready artwork.
• Able to edit and prepare vector artwork.
• Good attention to detail, especially when checking artwork before printing.
• Able to follow instructions and meet deadlines.
• Willing to learn and handle different types of printing/design work.
• Experience handling customer artwork is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Create and edit basic graphic designs for printing and promotional materials.
• Prepare artwork according to required printing sizes and specifications.
• Assist customers with basic artwork adjustments and design requirements.
• Check customer-supplied artwork before printing.
• Prepare print-ready files in Adobe Illustrator or CorelDRAW.
• Perform basic vector editing, image placement, text editing and layout adjustments.
• Ensure correct dimensions, resolution, colour mode, bleed and file setup before production.
• Communicate with the printing/production team regarding artwork requirements.
• Make amendments to artwork based on customer or production requirements.
• Organise and maintain design files and artwork.
