Job summary

Oriental Coffee International is seeking a Franchise Coordinator / Executive (Overseas) to support international franchise expansion and overseas operations in Malaysia. You will coordinate between HQ, overseas franchisees, suppliers and internal teams, ensuring onboarding, store development, pre-opening and post-opening support.

The role also focuses on upholding brand standards, SOPs, food quality and service, while coordinating store openings, training and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality, F&B Management, International Business or a related field.
• Minimum 2-4 years of experience in F&B, franchise, retail operations, project coordination or business development.
• Experience in franchise operations or overseas projects is highly preferred.
• Experience in restaurant chains, Kopitiam or multi-outlet F&B operations is an added advantage.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Good written and spoken English; additional languages a plus.
• Strong organizational, planning and follow-up abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
• Willing and able to travel overseas when required.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key point of contact between HQ and overseas franchise partners.
• Maintain effective and professional communication with franchisees.
• Coordinate franchise onboarding and documentation.
• Assist in site information reviews and approvals for overseas stores.
• Monitor project timelines and milestones for store development.
• Coordinate pre-opening activities and staff recruitment.
• Ensure SOPs, brand standards and operating procedures are followed.
• Prepare weekly and monthly franchise reports.
• Maintain franchisee onboarding schedules and project trackers.
