Job summary

BANYANO ASIA SDN BHD is seeking an experienced IT Operations Manager to deliver on-site operations and maintenance across overseas data center sites.

You will lead on-site teams, ensure SLA achievement, manage incidents, and drive security, compliance, and continuous improvement programs.

Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Malay, you will coordinate with international clients, oversee transitions, and mentor staff in a fast-paced, cross-cultural environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data center on-site IT operations.
• At least 2 years of team management experience.
• Experience managing multiple sites or overseas/remote operations.
• Fluency in Mandarin, English and Malay.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-site IT operations and maintenance for overseas data center sites to meet SLAs.
• Lead on-site teams, including recruitment, scheduling, training and performance management.
• Act as primary contact for customers, handling changes, incidents and expectations.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, MOPs and EOPs; maintain knowledge bases and docs.
• Coordinate 24/7 incident response and major incident management, RCA, CAPA.
• Ensure security/compliance across physical, data, and regulatory requirements.
• Provide guidance on IT asset lifecycle and assist with asset-related issues.
• Drive automation, efficiency, and cost optimization; support cross-cultural collaboration.
