Job summary

TPE Resource Solutions in Malaysia is seeking a proactive Safety Officer to oversee safety management across regional stations, transportation, and on-site operations in line with OSHA 1994 and local laws.

You will collaborate with internal teams and regulators to implement best practices, develop safety programs, conduct inspections, and lead training to raise safety awareness and emergency readiness. Strong English skills are essential, Mandarin a plus.

Qualifications

• Possess OSHA certification (preferred)
• Strong familiarity with OSHA regulations and best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Independent analysis and sound judgment under pressure
• Proficient in English; Mandarin is a plus

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety management across regional stations, transportation, and on-site operations in compliance with OSHA 1994, local regulations, and company safety policies.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external regulatory bodies to ensure the implementation of best safety practices and standards.
• Develop, implement, and optimize safety programs to prevent workplace accidents, conduct regular site safety inspections, hazard identification, and HIRARC.
• Organize safety training and daily pre-shift safety briefings for employees to raise safety awareness and improve emergency response capabilities.
• Investigate and report workplace injuries, incidents, and near-miss events, including post-incident reviews and documentation.
• Coordinate with DOSH and other relevant government authorities for inspections and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain safety records, emergency response plans, corrective action records, and follow-up tracking.
• Implement safety controls for bulky goods transportation, vehicle operations, and dangerous goods handling.
• Promote and strengthen a positive safety culture across operational sites.
• Provide operational support as required, including data monitoring, data analysis, and coordination to drive the completion of assigned tasks and initiatives.
