Job summary

Golden Fresh Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a proactive Occupational Safety and Health Officer to implement and enforce safety policies across its operations in Malaysia.

The role requires ensuring compliance with DOSH and other authorities, maintaining safety records and leading safety training initiatives. You will develop safety management systems, review risk assessments (HIRARC), conduct inspections, and investigate incidents to prevent recurrences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety and Health, Environmental Science or a related field.
• Must possess a valid Malaysian Safety and Health Officer (SHO) registration with DOSH (Green Book).
• Experience in HIRARC, workplace inspections, incident investigations, safety training and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Implement and enforce safety policies in line with Malaysian OSH laws.
• Develop and maintain safety management systems and control measures for high-risk activities.
• Monitor HIRARC activities across all departments and review risks.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near misses; identify root causes and preventive measures.
• Ensure compliance with DOSH, DOE and other authorities; maintain records.
