Job summary

Asia Eye Management Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Optometrist to perform comprehensive eye examinations and diagnose common vision problems. The role includes coordinating procurement for surgery-related products and assisting in inventory management, while addressing patient inquiries and insurance processing.

You will also counsel patients on Lasik/ICL/Cataract options and support front desk operations as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma / Professional Degree in Optometry or equivalent.
• Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations.
• Diagnose sight problems, such as near-sightedness and colour blindness.
• Conduct diagnostic tests and investigations as instructed by ophthalmologist.
• Coordinate procurement of surgery-related products such as intro-ocular lenses and assist in managing inventory.
• Address patient inquiries and concerns.
• Assist patients in processing insurance claims, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.
• Provide information and supportive counseling to patients on surgery (Lasik / ICL / Cataract).
• Support the front desk operations when necessary.
