Job summary

Asia Eye Management Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an Optometrist to perform comprehensive eye examinations, diagnose common vision problems, and conduct diagnostic tests under ophthalmologist guidance.

You will coordinate procurement of surgery-related products, assist with inventory, process insurance claims, and provide information and counseling to patients about Lasik/ICL/Cataract options. Some front desk support may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree / Diploma / Professional Degree in Optometry or equivalent.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive eye examinations.
• Diagnose sight problems, such as near-sightedness and colour blindness.
• Conduct diagnostic tests and investigations as instructed by ophthalmologist.
• Coordinate procurement of surgery-related products such as intro-ocular lenses and assist in managing inventory.
• Address patient inquiries and concerns.
• Assist patients in processing insurance claims, ensuring all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and promptly.
• Provide information and supportive counseling to patients on surgery (Lasik / ICL / Cataract).
• Support the front desk operations when necessary.
