Job summary

SCHOTT Malaysia seeks a senior leader to head the Metrology & Test Development function for geometry reflective waveguide projects and industrialization efforts. You will shape strategy, drive roadmaps, and guide teams through development to high-volume manufacturing.

Qualifications include 12–15 years in metrology/optical manufacturing, with 3–5 years in leadership, and strong MSA/STAT skills, plus Python and LabVIEW proficiency.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12–15 years of hands-on experience in metrology, test development, characterization or optical component manufacturing.
• At least 3–5 years in a technical leadership or people-management role.
• Proven track record managing metrology and test teams through NPI and into high-volume manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Metrology & Test Development function for geometry reflective waveguide development and industrialization programs.
• Own strategy and roadmaps for metrology and test in Schott Malaysia.
• Build, lead and mentor the metrology and test development team.
