Job summary

Pentamaster Corporation Berhad in Penang is seeking an Operator / Assembly for Medical Device Manufacturing to perform production, assembly, packaging, labeling and inspection according to WI/SOP and schedules, with strict adherence to quality and safety.

You will operate equipment, document production records, maintain cleanroom standards where applicable, and support line setup, changeovers, and stock reconciliation. SPM/SPMV or equivalent is required with GMP exposure preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / SPMV or equivalent.
• Certificate in Manufacturing, Engineering or related field is an added advantage.
• Experience working in a cleanroom or GMP environment is preferred.
• Ability to follow work instructions and SOPs accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform production, assembly, packaging, labelling and inspection activities according to approved WI, SOP, and production schedules.
• Operate production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently according to established procedures.
• Ensure products meet quality specifications and report defects or non-conformities to the Supervisor.
• Complete production records, batch records, logbooks and other required documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the production area.

Job description

Operator / Assembly – Medical Device Manufacturing

• Perform production, assembly, packaging, labelling and inspection activities according to approved Work Instructions (WI), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), and production schedules.
• Operate production equipment and machinery safely and efficiently according to established procedures.
• Ensure products meet quality specifications and immediately report any defects, abnormalities or non-conforming products to the Supervisor.
• Perform in-process visual inspection and basic quality checks during production.
• Complete production records, batch records, logbooks and other required documentation accurately and timely.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the production area.
• Handle raw materials, components and finished goods carefully to prevent damage or contamination.
• Comply with gowning procedures and cleanroom requirements where applicable.
• Assist in production line setup, line clearance and changeover activities.
• Support stock counting and material reconciliation activities when required.
• Report machine malfunction, material shortages, safety hazards or production issues to the immediate superior.
