Job summary

Pentamaster Corporation Berhad, a leading Malaysian automation solutions provider, is seeking a Production Technician in Penang/Bayan Lepas. The role focuses on machine assembly, electrical wiring, pneumatics installation, testing and production support to ensure quality and on-time delivery.

The candidate will prepare parts, perform assembly, maintain 5S, test and verify machine operation, and contribute to continuous improvement while aligning with management schedules.

Qualifications

• Experience in machine assembly and electrical/panel wiring.
• Familiar with pneumatic routing and soldering.
• Commitment to 5S and maintaining clean, safe work space.
• Ability to collect and record machine performance data.
• Willingness to participate in process improvements.
• Good understanding of quality standards and production schedules.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and retrieve required parts, components, and materials for machine projects.
• Perform machine and panel assembly, including electrical wiring, pneumatic routing, trunking/cable management, and soldering.
• Maintain 5S and cleanliness of the work area.
• Conduct tool testing, machine alignment, and verification to ensure optimal machine operation.
• Collect and record machine performance/data for buy-off and verification activities.
• Identify improvement opportunities and propose corrective/preventive actions.
• Provide technical input and solutions to support design enhancements.
• Complete assigned production and office-related tasks according to management requirements.
• Ensure all assigned work meets quality, productivity, and schedule requirements.
• Actively participate in any assignment given by production management.

Job description
