Job summary

NEFAB Penang is seeking a Production Executive – Operations to drive production process improvement plans, support the Site Manager in continuous improvement, and ensure efficient manufacturing with robust maintenance. The role suits technically skilled individuals with a hands-on attitude and strong communication.

Applicants should have a degree in engineering (packaging/mechanical/electrical/manufacturing) and at least 3 years’ experience in high-volume manufacturing, with familiarity in

Qualifications

• Engineering degree in packaging, mechanical and/or electrical or manufacturing engineering (or equivalent).
• Minimum three (3) years’ experience in Manufacturing or operations process.
• Bi-lingual capabilities desirable; English and Mandarin preferred for diverse client base.

Responsibilities

• Identify manufacturing needs for new products in development.
• Design processes and provide facilities & methods for cost-effective integration of new products.
• Ensure product and system requirements are met from concept to finished product.
• Lead shop floor layout and tooling for assembly tasks and process automation improvements.
• Generate production documentation and standard work methods to reduce variability.
• Oversee maintenance and safety of machinery and equipment.
• Organize plant start-up/shut-down and respond to breakdowns; report downtime trends.
• Support continuous improvement, problem solving and process optimization.
