Job summary

JAC Recruitment in Malaysia seeks an Operations Planner for a Klang-based fresh produce importer/exporter to oversee planning, costing, budgeting, and logistics. The role emphasizes strong analytical ability and independent work in a fast-paced setting.

You will develop plans aligned with forecasts, coordinate warehousing and transport, monitor budgets and margins, and produce management reports on performance metrics.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, Finance, Engineering, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in operational planning, supply chain, inventory planning, production planning, costing, budgeting, or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of costing, forecasting, budgeting, inventory management, and operational reporting.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical abilities.
• Experience in FMCG, food distribution, manufacturing, import/export, or supply chain environments will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment with strong stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop daily, weekly, and monthly operational plans based on sales forecasts, customer orders, inventory levels, and incoming shipments.
• Coordinate packing, warehousing, inventory, and logistics activities to support on-time deliveries.
• Prepare product costing, landed cost calculations, gross margin analysis, and budget monitoring.
• Track inventory levels, replenishment requirements, stock ageing, and inventory performance.
• Coordinate inbound shipments and outbound deliveries with suppliers, transporters, and warehouse teams.
• Analyse operational performance and prepare management reports on costing, inventory, logistics, budgets, and operational metrics.
• Identify operational improvements and cost‑saving opportunities.

About The Company
