Job summary

Colform Sdn Bhd is seeking an Operation Manager/Assistant Manager based in Port Klang to oversee daily operations, manage inventory and logistics, and lead a team to meet performance targets. The role emphasizes process improvements, safety, and cross-department collaboration.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Admin/Operations Management with at least 3 years in a supervisory role, preferably in manufacturing, and is proficient in Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of managerial or supervisory experience.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or related fields.
• Experience in manufacturing is an advantage.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operational activities and workflows to ensure smooth and efficient business operations.
• Monitor order processing, inventory, delivery and customer fulfilment for accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage manpower planning and staff scheduling to meet operational needs.
• Track performance against targets and implement corrective actions and process improvements.
• Oversee warehouse, inventory management, stock receiving, storage, distribution and movement.
• Coordinate logistics operations and delivery schedules with transporters to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
• Foster teamwork and effective communication across departments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
