Job summary

Erast Pte Ltd is seeking an Operations Executive based in Mount Austin, Johor Bahru to support day‑to‑day airfreight activities in a permanent role. The position offers a 5‑day work week, 9:00am–6:00pm, with a basic salary of up to RM3,200 plus a variable bonus.

You will manage daily airfreight operations, coordinate with airlines and customs, prepare shipping documents, and work with Customer Service to handle bookings. 1–2 years' relevant experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of relevant experience in airfreight or logistics.
• Familiarity with airfreight import/export procedures.
• Knowledge of shipping documentation and Dangerous Goods handling is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily airfreight export and import operations.
• Coordinate shipment arrangements with airlines, freight forwarders, transporters, and customs authorities.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, including Air Waybills (AWB), export/import permits, and declarations.
• Work with the Customer Service team to secure and manage shipment bookings.
• Arrange and schedule cargo pickups from customers to support smooth and timely handling.
• Monitor cargo movements and ensure shipments are delivered accurately and on schedule.
• Provide customers and vendors with timely updates on shipment progress.
• Ensure operations comply with Dangerous Goods handling requirements and airfreight regulations.
• Investigate and resolve shipment issues or discrepancies as they occur.
• Support ongoing improvements to air export operations and processes.
