Job summary

Tiong Nam Logistics is seeking an experienced Logistics Operations Manager in Shah Alam to lead daily warehousing, inventory control, and transportation planning.

You will develop strategies to optimize supply chain performance, manage budgets, and implement KPI-driven improvements while ensuring safety, compliance, and excellent customer service across internal teams and partners.

Qualifications

• Develop and implement operational strategies to optimize logistics, warehouse, and transportation processes for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and stock control, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manage transportation logistics, coordinating with carriers, optimizing routes, and ensuring timely delivery of goods while adhering to safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Lead and mentor a team of operational staff, fostering a collaborative environment and promoting professional development.
• Analyze operational data to identify areas for improvement, implement corrective actions, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies within the logistics and warehousing functions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, procurement, and finance, to ensure seamless integration of operations with overall business objectives.
• Manage operational budgets, track expenses, and identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising service quality.
• Proficiency in utilizing logistics management software and other relevant technologies to enhance operational efficiency and data analysis.

• Handle customer inquiries and resolve operational issues promptly and professionally, maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of logistics processes and systems through innovation and the adoption of best practices.
