Job summary

CEVA Logistics in Malaysia is seeking an Operations Executive to oversee site operations, drive service levels, and manage the daily flow of goods and teams.

The role focuses on training direct reports, improving KPI performance, controlling operational costs, and ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive reporting and close customer liaison.

Responsibilities

• Determine accountabilities of direct reports and develop and train directs reports to ensure appropriate succession planning for the site.
• Manage vehicle and equipment maintenance and control and establish to ensure the on-going reporting and pro-active management of vehicle and equipment maintenance.
• Manage operational planning to ensure customer service levels are achieved and improved.
• Liaise with customer, either directly or through direct report to ensure customer service expectations are being met through the development, implementation and management of liaison and feedback processes.
• Develop (where appropriate) and manage all customer and operational KPI's including actively managing the process by charring /attending meetings, following up issues and establishing processes to improve operational and customer KPI's.
• Manage operational and management/operation reports and action to improve as required. Ensure Site operational costs are minimised and profit targets are being achieved.
• Perform other tasks for which the person is trained, qualified and competent to perform, as direct by senior management.
• Continuously improve own skills base by attending internal/external training as required.
• To organise the operational structure and ensure a consistently high standard performance from the operations employee, which is achieved by organisation, good teamwork, effective communication, consistent positive result and continuous improvement
