Job summary

EXPRESS MISSION SDN. BHD. is seeking an Operations Executive to oversee 24/7 genset rental operations in Klang. The role focuses on planning manpower, coordinating assets, and ensuring timely delivery, installation, servicing and collection.

You will monitor asset movements, maintain records, support urgent needs, and drive efficiency while complying with safety and company procedures. Diploma or degree preferred; 2–5 years in operations or logistics.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in operations, logistics or equipment rental.
• Experience in genset rental, power generation or equipment rental is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule manpower and shift allocation according to operational requirements.
• Coordinate daily genset rental operations, including deployment, delivery, installation, standby, servicing and collection.
• Monitor genset demand, availability, movement and utilisation.
• Coordinate with manpower and logistics to ensure timely delivery, installation and collection of gensets.
• Oversee genset maintenance, servicing and repair arrangements.
• Monitor manpower attendance, punctuality and work performance.
• Guide and support manpower to ensure smooth and safe operations.
• Manage and monitor diesel cards, Tng cards, vehicles, gensets, tools and other company assets.
• Maintain proper records of asset allocation, movements, card transactions and fuel usage.
• Handle customer operational issues and coordinate timely follow-up.
• Monitor operational costs and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce wastage.
• Ensure operations comply with company procedures, safety requirements and applicable regulations.
• Prepare and submit daily and weekly operational reports to management.
• Support urgent operational requirements in a 24/7 operating environment.

Are you organised, proactive and able to manage people, equipment and multiple operational requirements in a fast-paced environment?

As an Operations Executive, you will coordinate the daily operations of our genset rental business, ensuring manpower, gensets, vehicles and resources are properly planned and deployed to meet customer and site requirements.

What you’ll do

Plan and schedule manpower and shift allocation according to operational requirements.

Coordinate daily genset rental operations, including deployment, delivery, installation, standby, servicing and collection.

What you’ll bring

Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Logistics or a related field.

2–5 years of experience in operations, equipment rental, logistics or a similar role.

Experience in genset rental, power generation or equipment rental is an advantage.

Good manpower scheduling, coordination and organisational skills.

Strong communication, problem-solving and follow-up skills.

Good attention to detail, particularly in asset and operational records.

Responsible, proactive and able to work independently.

Comfortable working in a 24/7 operational environment and handling urgent requirements when necessary.

Willing to travel to customer and project sites when required.

Possess a valid driving licence.
