Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead our Control Tower operations in Malaysia. You will supervise a team of Operations Coordinators and act as the first escalation point for operational issues, ensuring timely resolutions and adherence to SOPs.

You will monitor shipment bookings, milestones, and supplier performance while driving continuous improvement through KPI analysis and collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• At least 1 year of team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding and transportation operations (Air, Ocean, or Ground).
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Requirements

Education

Experience

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• At least 1 year of team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding and transportation operations (Air, Ocean, or Ground).
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Customer‑focused with the ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).
• Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Pharma, Healthcare, Automotive, Aerospace, or High‑Tech logistics.
• Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 9001 or GDP.
• Additional language skills will be an advantage.
