Job summary

Michael Page is recruiting a Control Tower Manager for a high-impact regional role in Johor Bahru. You will coordinate end-to-end cargo movements across multiple logistics service lines and ensure smooth operational handovers while maintaining visibility of inbound and outbound operations, inventory status, customs processes, and shipment milestones.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in logistics or ocean operations, hands-on experience managing cross-functional control tower

• 5+ years in logistics, supply chain, or ocean ops.
• Experience managing complex cross-functional operations or control towers.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse ops, container freight station activities, ocean allocation.
• Experience creating and implementing operational KPI frameworks.
• Strong analytical capability to challenge assumptions with data.
• Effective stakeholder management and influence without authority.

Responsibilities

• Lead governance meetings and align stakeholders on decisions.
• Partner with customer-facing and operations teams to drive improvements.

A successful Control Tower Manager should have:

• At least 5 years of experience in logistics, supply chain, freight forwarding, ocean operations, or related environments.
• Demonstrated experience managing complex cross-functional operations or control tower environments.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations, container freight station activities, ocean allocation, and end-to-end supply chain processes.
• Experience creating and implementing operational KPI frameworks and performance reporting structures.
• Strong analytical capability with the ability to challenge assumptions and make data-driven decisions.
• Effective stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-volume, and peak-season environments.
