Job summary

CEVA Logistics is seeking an experienced Operations Supervisor to lead our Control Tower operations in Malaysia. You will supervise a team of Operations Coordinators and act as the first escalation point for operational issues, ensuring timely resolutions and adherence to SOPs.

You will monitor shipment bookings, milestones, and supplier performance while driving continuous improvement through KPI analysis and collaboration with internal stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Freight Forwarding, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• At least 1 year of team leadership or supervisory experience.
• Strong understanding of freight forwarding and transportation operations (Air, Ocean, or Ground).
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of Operations Coordinators in daily Control Tower operations.
• Act as the first point of escalation for operational issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Monitor shipment bookings, transportation milestones, and supplier performance.
• Analyze operational KPIs and identify continuous improvement opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with SOPs and operational standards.
• Conduct workload planning, scheduling, overtime, and leave management.
• Support supplier onboarding and operational process improvements.
• Participate in customer meetings, monthly reviews, and quarterly business reviews.
• Coach, mentor, and develop team members to achieve operational excellence.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve logistics processes and customer satisfaction.
