Job summary

Wheelersgate Automotives (M) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a reliable Operations Driver (Vehicle Handling) to support daily vehicle movements and operational tasks, including collection and delivery of company vehicles, coordinating transfers, and basic inspections.

The ideal candidate will be careful with vehicles, punctual, organised, and comfortable handling a range of cars from luxury to high-value, with the ability to work with the operations team and occasionally serve as Founder’s driver.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Manage the collection and delivery of company vehicles for daily operations.
• Coordinate and oversee vehicle movement logistics, ensuring safe, on-time transfers.
• Conduct pre-delivery and post-delivery inspections, checking for damage, cleanliness, fuel, mileage and condition.
• Ensure proper handling during transportation, parking, handover and collection.
• Assist with government and vehicle-related procedures (e.g., visits to JPJ and PUSPAKOM).
• Support day-to-day operational errands, document collection, deliveries, and coordination tasks.
• Assist with vehicle movements between showroom, workshop, detailing centres, inspection centres and customers.

Job description

We are looking for a reliable and responsible Operations Driver (Vehicle Handling) to support our daily vehicle movement and operational needs.

This role involves handling the collection and delivery of company vehicles, coordinating vehicle transfers, conducting basic inspections, assisting with government-related processes, and supporting general operational tasks.

The ideal candidate should be careful with vehicles, punctual, organised, and comfortable handling a wide range of cars, including performance, luxury, and high-value vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the collection and delivery of company vehicles for daily operations.

Coordinate and oversee vehicle movement logistics, ensuring vehicles are transferred safely and on time.

Conduct pre-delivery and post-delivery vehicle inspections, including checking for visible damage, cleanliness, fuel level, mileage, and overall condition.

Ensure vehicles are handled with proper care during transportation, parking, handover, and collection.

Assist with basic government and vehicle-related procedures, including visits to JPJ, PUSPAKOM, and other relevant agencies when required.

Support day-to-day operational errands, document collection, deliveries, and coordination tasks.

Assist with vehicle movements between showroom, workshop, detailing centres, inspection centres, customers, and other locations.

Maintain clear communication with the operations team regarding vehicle status, delays, handovers, and any issues identified.

Occasionally serve as the Founder's driver/chauffeur for business-related travel, meetings, or appointments.

Carry out other operational duties as assigned when required.

Requirements

Valid Malaysian driving licence (D & B) with a clean driving record.

Confident and experienced in driving different types of vehicles.

Comfortable handling luxury, performance, classic, and high-value vehicles.

Careful, responsible, and attentive when handling company or customer vehicles.

Good punctuality and time management.

Able to follow instructions and coordinate effectively with the operations team.

Familiar with Klang Valley roads and major routes.

Willing to travel locally for vehicle collection, delivery, inspection, and operational tasks.

Basic understanding of vehicle condition and ability to identify visible defects or damage.

Professional attitude, especially when dealing with customers, suppliers, and external parties.

Preferred

Previous experience as a driver, automotive operations assistant, vehicle runner, transporter, or similar role.

Experience dealing with JPJ, PUSPAKOM, vehicle inspections, registrations, or ownership transfers.

Familiarity with performance and luxury vehicles.

Basic automotive knowledge is an advantage.
