Job summary

Doo Group is seeking a Broker Operations Analysis professional in Kuala Lumpur to drive data-driven insights across CFD brokerage processes. You will collect and validate data, build dashboards, and deliver timely reports that support management decision-making.

The role focuses on operational data analysis, KPI development, and improving reporting efficiency using AI tools and automation. Excellent communication and ownership are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within CFD, forex, brokerage, financial services or related industry strongly preferred.
• Good understanding of CFD brokerage operations and the client lifecycle.
• Experience working with operational data, reporting, or analysis.
• Comfortable working with large datasets and multiple data sources.
• Ability to organise, clean, validate, and interpret data accurately.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking.
• Good attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies in data.
• Ability to understand the business meaning behind numbers rather than only producing reports.
• Strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Able to manage recurring reports and deadlines independently.
• Proactive in following up and providing progress updates without repeated reminders.
• Comfortable learning new tools, technologies, and methods of working.
• Good written and verbal communications skills.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with different stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc operational reports for management and stakeholders.
• Collect, consolidate, clean, and validate data from different operational sources.
• Analyse operational data to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, performance gaps, and risks.
• Ensure reports are accurate, complete, timely and easy for stakeholders to understand.
• Develop and maintain reporting templates, dashboards, and performance-tracking tools.
• Improve existing reports to provide meaningful insights beyond raw numbers.
• Support management with data required for operational reviews and decision-making.
• Analyse historical data and provide comparisons or trend analysis as required.
• Translate business or operational questions into appropriate data analysis.
• Understand key operational processes within a CFD brokerage environment.
• Work with departments to understand context behind changes in data.
• Identify operational issues or opportunities through data rather than manual observation.
• Support the team in establishing meaningful KPIs and performance measurements.
• KYC/eKYC, Deposits & withdrawals, Operational ticket volumes, etc., as part of data analysis.
• Utilise SQL and AI tools to enhance productivity and reporting quality.
