Job summary

Razer is seeking a Compliance Officer to manage day-to-day AML/CFT compliance operations and support broader regulatory compliance for our financial services business. You will oversee customer screening, policy maintenance, and regulatory reporting, reporting to the Head of Risk & Compliance.

You will collaborate with business units to embed compliance in daily operations, deliver AML/CFT training, and monitor evolving regulations to minimize risk.

Qualifications

• 6–7 years' experience in compliance, risk, or regulatory affairs within financial services.
• Experience with Money Services Business (MSB) is preferred.
• Familiarity with AML/CFT and sanctions screening requirements.
• Strong regulatory liaison, policy drafting, and stakeholder management skills.
• ICA/ACAMS certification an advantage.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, fostering a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

We are seeking for a Compliance Officer to manage day-to-day AML/CFT compliance operations and support broader regulatory compliance for our business. This role covers customer screening, policy and controls maintenance and regulatory liaison and reporting.

• Support day-to-day operational compliance monitoring, ensuring adherence to applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Draft, review, and maintain compliance policies, procedures and internal controls documentation.
• Support AML/CFT and sanctions screening, customer due diligence and transaction monitoring processes.
• Coordinate regulatory returns, periodic reporting and responses to regulator queries or examinations.
• Monitor regulatory developments relevant to the business and assess operational impact.
• Act as day-to-day liaison with BNM and other relevant authorities on compliance matters, including supporting regulatory license applications or renewals as and when required.
• Support audit and regulatory examination engagements.
• Partner with business units to embed compliance requirements into day-to-day operations.
• Deliver AML/CFT training and compliance awareness sessions to operational staff.

Requirements

• At least 6 –7 years' experience in compliance, risk, or regulatory affairs within financial services (banking, payments or other regulated industries).
• Experience with Money Services Business (MSB) is preferred.
• Familiarity with AML/CFT and sanctions screening requirements.
• Strong regulatory liaison, policy drafting, and stakeholder management skills.
• ICA/ACAMS certification an advantage.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team, fostering a collaborative and positive team environment, promoting knowledge sharing and continuous learning.
