Job summary

J&T NAZA ALAM MURNI SDN BHD in Malaysia seeks a Plant Operator to monitor operation data from a Centralized Control Room, perform equipment patrols and oversee waste transferring, mixing and feeding by overhead crane.

You will perform simple repairs, replace consumables and assist with chemical receiving/refilling, start up/shut down equipment and prepare daily reports while ensuring environmental, quality and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum SKM Certificate or Diploma in relevant field.
• Good fitness.
• Possess own transportation.
• Preferable overhead crane operation license.
• Preferable forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Monitor operation data and control parameters from Centralized Control Room.
• Conduct technical patrol and inspection of equipment, with early detection of abnormalities and housekeeping.
• Operate waste transferring, mixing and feeding by overhead crane.
• Perform simple repairs, replacement of consumables and initial troubleshooting.
• Transfer materials, chemicals, by-products and spare parts by heavy machinery (e.g. forklift trucks).
• Assist to receive and refill chemicals (e.g. NaOH, AC).
• Assist in ash blending works.
• Start-up and shut-down of equipment.
• Assist in making daily reports (work diaries, anomaly reports, repair request forms).
• Handover of duties to the next shift and report operation conditions to the shift leader.
