Job summary

NKR Continental (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an Operation / Purchasing Executive / Assistant to oversee purchasing, logistics, import/export operations, and daily operational management. You will coordinate overseas shipments, liaise with shipping liners and customs, and ensure smooth logistics and documentation.

The role requires a minimum diploma or degree, at least 5 years in a related field, and proficiency in English.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma or degree; relevant experience considered in place of formal education.
• At least 5 years in related purchasing/logistics operations, with exposure to import/export.
• Proficiency in English; additional Chinese/Malay language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversea purchasing and logistics (import & export) coordination with shipping liners and agents.
• Ensure smooth day-to-day operations, deliveries, logistics, and documentation.
• Coordinate all import and export shipments and prepare POs for overseas suppliers.
• Manage inventory storage and monthly reporting, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Liaise with customs, forwarding agents, and ERP system for process efficiency.

Operation / Purchasing Executive / Assistant in the Food Service Industry, responsible for overseeing purchasing, logistics, import and export operations, and day-to-day operational management.

Key responsibilities

In charge of oversea purchasing & logistic (import & export), liaison with shipping liners, forwarding agents & customs

Responsible for the smooth day to day operation, delivery, logistics, custom clearance and documentation

Coordinate all import and export shipment

Arrange & supervise on outward clearing & prepare PO for oversea supplier

Manage the storage and control of inventory, as well as prepare & submit the monthly inventory reports

About you

Minimum Diploma Holder or degree a plus

At least 5 years working experience in related field

Proficient in Microsoft application

Proficient in English. Speak Chinese and/or Malay a plus

Pleasant personality, initiative, team player & able to work independently

Experience with ERP system will be an added advantage
