Job summary

JAC Recruitment in Malaysia is seeking a senior Production & Operations Manager for a bakery and food manufacturing client in Kuala Lumpur. You will oversee production, quality, inventory, and team management to ensure efficiency, product consistency, and cost control.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma/Degree in Business, Retail Management, or F&B with 10+ years in retail, bakery, or F&B operations, and strong leadership plus food safety knowledge.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Retail Management, Food & Beverage, or related field.
• More than 10 years of experience in retail, bakery, or F&B operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of bakery operations and food safety standards is an added advantage.
• Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Production & Quality: oversee daily production, quality, and presentation.
• Monitor production schedules and output for efficiency.
• Improve workflow and minimize waste across the line.
• Inventory Management: monitor stock levels and coordinate purchases.
• Manage storage and inventory movement; conduct stock checks and cost control.
• Team Management: recruit, train, and supervise production staff; schedule manpower.
• Conduct performance evaluations and resolve team issues.
• Food Safety & Compliance: ensure hygiene standards and record-keeping.
• Maintain cleanliness of equipment and work areas; ensure licenses and safety records are up to date.
