You will manage bakery staff, monitor performance, train team members, and coordinate with store management to meet KPIs and profitability targets, delivering a high-quality bakery experience.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience managing bakery operations in a retail environment.
• Proven track record in achieving sales targets and managing profitability within bakery operations.
• Strong knowledge of bakery products, including quality, freshness, production and storage requirements.
• Good understanding of food safety, hygiene and food handling standards relevant to bakery operations.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, coach and develop staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the Bakery department, ensuring smooth production, merchandising and store operations.
• Manage inventory levels, stock rotation and waste reduction to maximize profitability and minimize shrinkage.
• Ensure all bakery products meet quality, freshness and presentation standards to drive sales.
• Monitor food safety, hygiene and cleanliness standards in compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Train, supervise and motivate bakery staff to deliver excellent product quality and customer service.
• Analyze bakery sales performance and implement strategies to achieve departmental targets and KPIs.
