Job summary

KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital seeks a capable nursing assistant to deliver basic nursing care in accordance with established standards. You will work closely with the nursing team, report incidents promptly, and assist during patient transport, OP theatre duties, and recovery.

Your role includes aiding sterile services and supply tasks, attending patient calls, and upholding high hygiene and safety standards in the OR and wards.

Qualifications

• Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia is required.
• Certified healthcare assistants are preferred for this role.
• Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care per established standards.
• Work collaboratively with the nursing team and report incidents.
• Assist with patient transport and comfort in the ward and theatre areas.
• Support the sterile services and supply chain tasks as needed.
• Attend to patients' calls and ensure timely responses.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in operating theatres and recovery areas.
