Job summary

KPJ Specialist & Healthcare Centre is seeking a dedicated nurse to deliver high-quality nursing care in line with the facility's Mission and Objectives. The role includes assisting with admissions, transfers and discharges, and maintaining cleanliness and stock readiness across the unit.

The successful candidate will provide bedside care, assist in instrumentation-related tasks, and ensure timely response to patient call bells.

Qualifications

• SPM grade required with basic nursing exposure.
• On the job training provided.
• Experience in hospital setting is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provides basic nursing care for patient comfort, safety, nutrition and elimination needs.
• Assists in admission, transfer and discharge of patients.
• Carries out bed baths and total personal hygiene for non-ambulatory patients; assists ambulatory patients as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness of the unit, patient areas, and equipment; handles daily charges for disposables.
