KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital is seeking a dedicated nursing assistant to provide basic patient care in line with hospital standards. You will collaborate with the ward team, inform nursing leaders of incidents, and support patients and families during daily routines and procedures.

The role emphasizes adherence to ISO, MSQH, JCI standards, ongoing education, and flexible hours including weekends and emergencies. Prior hospital experience is an advantage; on-the-job training is offered.

Qualifications

• SPM certification required.
• Certified healthcare assistants preferred.
• Hospital experience is an advantage.
• On-the-job training/in-service training provided.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia both written and spoken.

Responsabilités

• Provide basic nursing care in line with hospital policies and procedures.
• Coordinate with ward team and other departments.
• Notify nursing leaders of situations affecting quality of care.
• Perform nursing rounds to assess patients and communicate with families.
• Assist in transporting patients to the operating theatre and other services.
• Record daily charges and update patient charges in ward system.
• Maintain cleanliness and stock levels of ward supplies and equipment.
• Support patient daily living activities and ensure safety and comfort.
