Job summary

NTT DATA in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an OpenShift Engineer to design, deploy, secure, and maintain OpenShift clusters across on‑prem and cloud environments. You will collaborate with Cloud, DevOps, Security, and App teams to deliver scalable, compliant container platforms for insurance workloads.

The role emphasizes hands‑on work with OpenShift 4.x, Kubernetes, Operators, and GitOps, along with strong automation using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and Tekton.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift clusters (ROSA/ARO/On-Prem).
• Experience with Operators, GitOps, CI/CD, and platform automation.
• Ability to collaborate with Cloud, DevOps, Security, and App teams to deliver secure platforms.
• Knowledge of SCCs, Pod Security, OPA/Gatekeeper, image scanning, and secure supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, secure, and maintain OpenShift container platforms.
• Automate cluster provisioning with Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and GitOps.
• Manage cluster lifecycle, upgrades, and node scaling.
• Configure networking, multi-tenant architectures, and security policies.
