Job summary

Singtel in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Platform Infrastructure Engineer to operate, support, and troubleshoot enterprise private cloud infrastructure across physical infrastructure, virtualization, and container platforms, with emphasis on Red Hat OpenShift, OpenShift Virtualization, Kubernetes containers, and virtualization technologies such as VMware, Nutanix, and Hyper-V.

Qualifications

• Degree in computer science or information technology or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift in production environments.
• Experience supporting private cloud infrastructure and incident management.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot private cloud infrastructure across compute, storage, networking, virtualization, and container platforms.
• Diagnose incidents, restore service, and prevent outages through log analysis and proactive monitoring.
• Develop runbooks and automation for platform operations and maintenance.
• Support hardware/virtualization components and participate in on-call duties as required.
• Collaborate with Change Management to implement patches and configuration changes at scale.
