Job summary

NTT DATA seeks an OpenShift Engineer in Kuala Lumpur to design, deploy, secure, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift platforms across insurance workloads. You will apply hands-on Kubernetes/OpenShift expertise to build scalable, compliant container platforms and collaborate with Cloud, DevOps, Security, and App teams to deliver mission-critical services.

Qualifications

Extensive hands-on experience with OpenShift and Kubernetes cluster design, deployment, and management.
Proficient in GitOps tooling and CI/CD integration (ArgoCD, Tekton, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
Experience with Terraform, Ansible, Helm for platform automation.
Strong collaboration, communication, and ability to translate platform concepts for stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and secure OpenShift clusters across on-prem and cloud environments.
Automate provisioning and upgrades using Terraform, Ansible, Helm, and GitOps.
Enforce security policies (SCCs, RBAC) and ensure regulatory compliance.
Monitor reliability with Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenShift Monitoring; troubleshoot issues.
Collaborate with Cloud, DevOps, and App teams; document architecture and incident RCA.
