Job summary

Buildway Engineering & Services Sdn Bhd is seeking a hands-on steelworker to join our on-site team in Kuala Lumpur. Under the guidance of a foreman, you will contribute to safe, efficient steelwork activities and ensure work is completed to required standards.

You will carry out tasks, assist with preparation, assembly and installation of steel components, use hand tools safely, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Qualifications

• Experience in steelwork or construction preferred.
• Able to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Basic understanding of workplace safety practices.
• Physically fit for site work and manual tasks.
• Reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out steelwork-related tasks as directed by the foreman.
• Assist with the preparation, assembly, installation and handling of steel components.
• Use hand tools and equipment safely and appropriately.
• Follow site instructions, work procedures and workplace safety requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe work area.
• Work collaboratively with the foreman and wider site team to meet project requirements.
