BINA KEMUNCAK CEMERLANG SDN. BHD. in Penang/Kedah seeks an experienced Site Supervisor to lead warehouse and factory build projects.

You will run daily site activities, manage manpower and machinery, ensure quality control, and uphold safety on steel/RC structures and civil works. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years on-site supervision, reads structural drawings, performs setting-out, and communicates in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years hands-on Site Supervisor experience in factories, warehouses, or civil works.
• Read structural/civil drawings and conduct setting-out.
• Ability to calculate raw materials accurately.
• Proactive and able to deliver daily site updates with a stable employment record.

• Coordinate machinery usage on-site and prevent unnecessary idling.
• Maintain site discipline and safety compliance.
• Identify potential site problems early to avoid delays.

Job description

We are looking for an experienced, vigilant, and hands-on Site Supervisor to lead site operations for warehouse and production line construction in Penang and Kedah. You will execute daily site activities, manage manpower and machinery, ensure quality control, and maintain site safety compliance on structural works (steel and RC), civil infrastructure (drainage, retaining walls, earthworks), and building works for warehouses and industrial factories.

Key responsibilities

Execute daily site activities strictly as per senior's instructions and project schedules

Report directly and effectively to your immediate senior, taking immediate action on site updates or urgent issues

Read and understand structural, architectural, and civil engineering drawings

Set up site levels using leveling instruments (dumpy level / auto level) for site workers

Establish building grid lines, level benchmarks, and site boundary lines accurately

Plan daily tasks and give clear instructions to site workers and sub-contractors as per drawing specs

Coordinate machinery usage (excavators, cranes, backhoes) on-site and prevent unnecessary machinery idling

Maintain strong site discipline, teamwork, and site safety compliance

Stay highly alert to all site activities to prevent poor workmanship, work defects, or damage to existing structures

Identify potential site problems early to avoid delays to the project timeline

About you

Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience as a Site Supervisor in factory builds, warehouses, or civil infrastructure works (drainage, retaining walls, earthworks)

Diploma / Certificate in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, Building Construction, or equivalent (candidates with strong practical experience without a diploma are also welcome)

Must know how to read structural/civil drawings, conduct setting-out (building lines/levels), and calculate raw materials accurately

Proactive, takes immediate action on instructions from seniors, and delivers clear daily site updates

Highly alert, detail-oriented, with a stable employment track record

Comfortable using smartphones/tablets and mobile apps for daily site logs and material tracking

Bahasa Malaysia and basic English communication skills
