Job summary

AERUMA GROUP SDN BHD in Malaysia is seeking a Network Engineer to build and maintain secure connectivity for business clients. You will design, install, configure and support routers, switches, firewalls, wireless and voice solutions, ensuring high availability and performance.

You will monitor networks, perform preventive maintenance, prepare clear service reports, and provide level-1 and level-2 troubleshooting.

Qualifications

Degree or higher in CS/IT/Engineering or related field.
Minimum 1 year hands-on experience as Network Engineer focusing on routing, switching and firewall.
Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English; Mandarin required for Mandarin-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

Install, configure, maintain and support routers, switches, firewalls, wireless, voice and other network appliances.
Monitor network performance and availability, perform preventive maintenance and prepare service reports.
Provide level-1 and level-2 troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve hardware, software and connectivity issues, escalating when required.
Contribute to network implementations, migrations and upgrades; support project deployment and delivery activities.
Deliver onsite and remote technical support; manage tickets and meet customer SLAs.
Assist Sales team with technical inquiries and solution recommendations.
